We will start out by talking about what is bothering you. Then, we look at your thoughts surrounding the bothersome situation. We will look at how your thoughts drive your feelings and then your actions. We will do some exercises on paper to help you see how the troubling situation affects you and how to think differently. Sometimes we may work on breathing, because sometimes people realize they aren’t breathing fully, but only taking shallow breaths. Deep breathing helps to calm you when you’re anxious.

You may not know you have anxiety. Some symptoms of anxiety are worrying, second guessing yourself, thinking about a past situation over and over, stomachaches, headaches, sweaty hands, etc. We can talk about it.
